Sakatan depicts a widely imaginative battle scene between two opposing forces. The two men in the forefront are seen protecting their villages, which reside within this jungle sitting upon a cliff, enclosed by huge fortified walls and overlooking the ocean. The two men shooting out this portal ride on ancient spaceships, and their fellow comrades are in operation of a huge spacecraft, commanding laser guns to attack the village. As for the boat drifting onto shore, well, I think those lads are just lost.

Very depressed during the making of this piece. Conceptually, there's just a lot of imagination carved from deep felt emotion. This scene takes place in some odd reality of Japan, and each separate group of words resonates with my soul. Starting from the very right, the letters say "lion", moving left next to that, the letters say "snake", then in the middle "Entering Death", in the very back - "Kings", towards the right of the nude bar - "Aztec", then "Earth", "Fire", "Water", and finally "Silverstreets" (Silverstreetz- my artistic name).

Pretty depressed during the creation of this piece. Nonetheless, I pushed through and channeled all the uncontrollable chaos and beauty imprisoned in my soul. This was the beginning of a less, sleep deprived routine of starvation and depression, but you can tell that I was still trippin. The demon to the right holds a bowl that states, "Death to Lazy Scum"; which refers to people of privilege who don't get off their ass to work and provide some sort of service to the world.
The demon to the left holds some sort of evil staff as well as a head of (possibly) the privileged people just mentioned. The statement of "Death to Cowards" painted in an engraving like form in the back, refers to people scared of the world. The little guy in the front channeling electricity could be me (I was in some form of psychosis throughout this entire process, so I really don't know) and the Aztec Temple is something that my soul resonates with. The American flag represents pride within brutality.

Chaotic piece depicting a scene of futuristic warfare held somewhere in space. The guy entering the portal is possibly me, trying to return back to earth.

Ah yes, a piece done while in the midst of sleep deprivation, starvation, and depression. The typography states my artist name - "Silverstreetz", as well as the sweet message of "Death to the Wicked". The Wicked being, a collective conscious of hate, war, bloodshed, and all that sort of nasty stuff that I was seeing and feeling. Yeah - death to tha
I did the top three portraits over the course of 2 days, serving as both practice and a release of very sad energy. The unfinished nude model was just practice, though I got bored of it.
This is a combination of some pieces done in my sketchbook - I believe they were done during the course of my sleep deprived routine of starvation and depression. It's when I began to meditate on a very dark place, hence the overall feeling of violence and what not.

This piece was more just a release of energy. Though not depressed during this time of my life, I conjured all the negativity I felt while in the midst of covid-19 into some sort of psychedelic demon.

Album cover for the rapper "Playboi Carti" and his album "Die Lit." I did this piece freshman year and it's just sort of cool to look at.

Bali
I wanted to create my own variations of the "Barong" from Indonesian/Hindu mythology. Their isn't anything conceptually or spiritually special about this piece, it was more about my discovery of the aesthetics that I found intriguing.
Ganesh
This piece was also done freshman year, serving as an aesthetic more than anything else. Though Ganesh (put simply) is the "remover of obstacles", and at this point in my life I think I genuinely resonated with that. Especially due to the Covid pandemic, I began to detach myself from socializing and trying to put up a front for other people. Focusing more on myself, I pondered how much art means to me, how it relates to my personality, and even the simple things of what just looked "cool" to me.

I completed this piece freshmen year when I became more introspective and keen to what makes me authentic. I decided to connect with my culture (being Indonesian/Filipino) and combining the characters from some of the mythologies into a piece of art. I'm going to be completely honest, I thought the characters in this piece just looked really cool and so I just wanted to represent that in a very stylistic way with the use of acrylic. This piece is definitely less thought provoking and serves more of an aesthetic.

These two pieces are separate but were done in the same week.
Perseus Slayer (left) my depiction of the famous battle between Perseus and Medusa, except Medusa wins as she holds Perseus's head with a frightening might.
To the right, "Don't Mistake Kindness For Weakness", playing off this statement I decided to depict a rather friendly Minotaur holding a flow

Lucy is inspired by the Beatles Song, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". This piece was more just an experimentation with digital media and the weird effects that can come from it.
These are a few of my best selling apparel pieces found on my website - www.silverstreetz.com
I create the idea digitally using Adobe Photoshop and then transfer the piece to garments via DTG and/or screen print.
I appreciate you taking the time to consider me.
